Camilo born in Porto, 1972. He studied architecture in pela Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP), 1996. He worked with the architect Eduardo Souto Moura, between 1997 e 1998. Collaborated in Herzog & de Meuron architecture studio, 1998 e 1999. Assistant teacher at FAUP, since 1999.
At 2000 he begins is won studio. Awarded author, the first prize was in the international competition for the conception of Vale do Côa Museum of Art and Archaeology, with Tiago Pimentel, 2004-2009).
Invited professor at “École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne” (EPFL), 2008 - 2011. Nowadays he is Invited Professor in the “Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura, Universidad de Navarra” (UNAV) and also in na “Accademia di architettura di Mendrisio, Università della Svizzera italiana” (USI).
