Assistant Professor and Principal at School of Arts – Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) – Porto. Researcher at Research Centre for Science and Technology of the Arts (CITAR) at the same school. Since the beginning of 90’s till 2006 she worked at municipal museums in Matosinhos (Museu da Quinta de Santiago) and Porto (Casa-Oficina António Carneiro, Casa-Museu Marta Ortigão Sampaio, Galeria do Palácio).
She published articles and books about Portuguese art in XIX – XXI and developed research for a variety of exhibitions. Jury member of Portuguese Art Competitions, Prémio Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso and Vila Nova de Cerveira International Biennal. She had a PhD with the work Exhibitions of Contemporary Art in the Landscape in the Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto. Member of APHA – Associação Portuguesa de Historiadores de Arte (Portuguese Associationof Art Historians) ando f AICA – Associação Internacional de Críticos de Arte (International Associationof Arts Critics).
